Art of Aquarium Castle at Kyoto Nijo-jo
I went to the exhibition “Art of Aquarium Castle” which has been held at Kyoto Nijo-jo castle. The castle has more than 400 years history itself and was listed the building as a World Heritage Site as part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto. It is basically not allow people to get into at night but only the period the exhibition has been held, visitors are allowed to get into.
I was so moved and impressed with the combination bright Aquarium Arts and quiet historic atmosphere. I’ve never seen such a beautiful world! One think I concerned was a bit high entrance fee, costing me JP￥1,600. Just a few international visitors, lots of Japanese ones. When I put my fingers into the aquarium, most of goldfish tried to bite my fingers as if mine were their food. Their gasping for air were so adorable. This is one of the most worth seeing outside aquarium.
