Relaxing effect of tea

It’s 9:00am here in Japan.  I come up to my office with half an hour drive away from home.  I make a cup of Japanese green tea called Sencha after arriving at my office.  The aroma of freshly brewed green tea spreads over my office, and it makes me relax. This is one of my favorite things.  A type of amino acid called theanine are largely contained in Sencha.  Simultaneously, it also has a relaxing effect.  When people are relaxing, α wave start to appear in brain waves. The more people have tea, the more α waves is said to be augmented in the wide range of brain.  I am happy to start my day with Sencha.  I am sure that Sencha is the right beverage for us to relax and work hard!  Have a good day!Yuya Shibata -CEO, Wabi・Sabi, Inc.
