An Unique Post Box in Uji City

Here is one very uncommon Post Box, photographed in Uji, Kyoto. It is shaped like a Chatsubo, a traditional glaze earthenware jar used to store the tea leaves in the ground. Colored green which is the same as tea leaves. Bright green color remains of Uji Tea. A post office produced this Tea Pot Post by the Uji municipal administration 50th Anniversary in 2001.
