An Unique Post Box in Uji City

Do you know what this is?
Here is one very uncommon Post Box, photographed in Uji, Kyoto. It is shaped like a Chatsubo, a traditional glaze earthenware jar used to store the tea leaves in the ground. Colored green which is the same as tea leaves. Bright green color remains of Uji Tea. A post office produced this Tea Pot Post by the Uji municipal administration 50th Anniversary in 2001. Yes,Of course it’s still working! Let’s go to Uji station and post letters.
